First presented in 2015, the Legacy Machine Perpetual has become one of absolute superstars. Among other recognitions, it took the Best Calendar Watch prize at the 2016 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, recognising the awesome work of independent watchmaker Stephen McDonnell – who literally reinvented the perpetual calendar mechanism, delivering a more user-friendly, more robust and incredibly beautiful machine.

Since 2015, the various limited editions we have announced have practically all sold out – you’ll be lucky to find a piece. Platinum (25 pieces), rose gold (25), white gold with purple face (25), titanium (50) and most recently yellow gold (25)… we are running out of metals! The new edition we present today is in Palladium 950, paired with an aquamarine dial.

The choice of palladium is not an easy one; surprisingly, the cost of the raw material surpasses today both gold and platinum, and it is significantly more difficult to machine than platinum, making these 25 pieces a true challenge to craft.

Depending on the light, the subtle aquamarine dial varies from light blue to grey to pale green… and this new edition inherits two new features: the more ergonomic corrector pushers first seen on the LM Perpetual EVO editions, and a darker movement finish on the back, offering more contrast.
