The new Submersible Verde Militare – 42 mm (PAM01055) challenges convention by successfully experimenting with an aesthetic dimension never previously explored. The first Submersible in history to have a green dial, it deliberately breaks the bounds of traditional colour usage, being designed to communicate through an unusual choice of colour.
New, yet positioned in an expressive language, a constant of the Panerai brand in 2019. Solid green, distinctive green, military green. With the qualities of a specific professional tool, it capitalises on proven technical know-how. Made of brushed AISI 316L stainless steel, the case has a screw back, a unidirectional rotating bezel graduated in relief and the brand’s unique, proprietary, legendary crown-protecting device. Expressly meeting the strict standards of accuracy and precision, and with the fundamental appearance of precision instruments conceived to be immersed in the depths of the sea, the new Submersible Verde Militare – 42 mm (PAM01055) is fitted with the latest P.900 mechanical calibre.
This automatic movement, with its restrained diameter and thickness, combine a power reserve of three days, the required technical minimum of the brand, and date indication. The mechanical calibre has a high degree of efficiency and strength, and it is entirely designed and developed in the Panerai Manufacture at Neuchâtel. Water-resistant to 30 bar (a depth of about 300 metres), the new Submersible Verde Militare – 42 mm is fitted with a rubber strap in the same colour as the name. A second strap of high-tech water-resistant material, black with a velcro closure and titanium loop, completes the equipment, together with a special tool for changing the straps and a screwdriver for removing the buckle.
